It’s 6 PM here in Denver, we’re at Denver International Airport, and sitting in the Red Carpet Club in the B concourse. The flight leaves in exactly 2 hours, and we’re ready to sink into our First Class “suites” for the 9 hour flight to London Heathrow.
Everything has gone like clockwork so far. Our limo showed up at exactly 3 PM and we had a fast, uneventful trip to DIA. There was no line at the First Class International checkin, we zipped through security, and then had a late lunch at Pour La France.
Now we’re using the last Wi-Fi for about 12 hours, when we’ll check into the JW Marriott Grosvenor Hotel in London. And if it’s a typical luxury hotel, they’ll charge a horrendous rate for what the discount chains give away for free…
We plan on doing some pub-hopping in London as a way of passing time. Should be fun.
Our next post should be from London. Stay tuned!
