Tortola, BVI

We had a nice day in Tortola, exploring the island on a shore excursion that took us all over the island from high to low, with views of the other British Virgin Islands (Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, etc), as well as the nearby US Virgin Islands (St. Thomas, St John). The waters between islands were filled with sail boats.

The temperature was perfect, in the mid-80s, with a few clouds & blue skies.

We enjoyed dinner tonight with a few new acquaintances; we relished New York strip steak, done perfectly.

Thanks for all of the great comments! If we don’t respond, please blame our expensive & unreliable shipboard wireless.

Tomorrow we call at Antigua (Steve & I visited here in 1984 on our second cruise). More later!
